How Alfa came together

Alfa was not planned at a desk. It came from sitting in, watching how children learn, and asking the people in the room what is missing.

A teacher sitting on the floor in a circle of young children
Sitting in on circle time to see how they actually learn
A volunteer pointing out letters on a printed worksheet to a young student
Noticing which letters a child stops at
Children writing at classroom desks while a teacher leans in to help
Watching how long focus holds at a desk
Two people standing together on a covered walkway outside a school building
Asking teachers and administrators what they actually need
